The Communication Challenge in Africa.
Africa is home to over 2,000 languages, making it the most linguistically diverse continent in the world. Yet many of these languages remain underrepresented in education, technology, research, healthcare, governance, and digital communication. Most are missing from the health systems, courts, schools, and apps people rely on every day. That gap costs people access to care, justice, education, opportunity, and technological advancement for millions of people.
LanguageAccess Africa was founded to bridge this divide. Recognizing that language is the foundation of communication, knowledge, identity, and development, we set out to create an organization that combines language expertise with modern technology to ensure that African languages remain relevant, accessible, and empowered in the digital age.
